The 2007 Exhibit, Then and Now fills the Klyne Esopus Museum. Artifacts, photos and postcards from the past are compared to modern counterparts.

The "gallery" exhibits Then and Now artifacts to include a candlestick phone and a 1924 underwood typewriter used by A.J. Contini & Sons to communicate with some of the 20th Centuries most famous sculptors. Also on exhibit is a pre-1916 Louisville Slugger baseball bat used in Union Center.

An antique "cabbage shredder is compared with today's smaller counterpart. The accompanying description explains that cabbage was shredded and preserved as "sauerkraut" for use by German immigrants during the long winters.

Postcards and photos of old houses are shown with today's view. Many houses have changed drastically. Some have stayed the same over many decades.

The Town of Esopus was the home to many schools to include the Mother Cabrini's and the Wiltwick School.

Arizona and New Mexico's admission to the Union brought "Old Glory" up to 48 stars in 1912. The admission of Alaska and Hawaii in 1959 resulted in today's 50-star flag.
The photo exhibit includes photos of some old restaurants and their modern use. The old Tropical Inn is now a church.
