Eight sections cover Kingston's legacy of stone houses in the Stockade District, the city's maritime history as a major Hudson River port and terminus of the Delaware and Hudson Canal, commerce and industry, public buildings, churches, private residences and street scenes. Photos are from several private collections and the archives of the Friends of Historic Kingston. The text is by Edwin Millard Ford, city historian since 1984, and also a board member and past president of the Friends of Historic Kingston.
